posted 01/11/2012 GIRLS' YOUTH LACROSSE "OFFICIAL'S CLINIC" FOR INTERESTED VARSITY PLAYERS
US Lacrosse has established guidelines in order to promote the game of lacrosse among the youth of America in a safe and sportsmanlike environment. It is important that anyone officiating a Youth game is aware of the new 2012 National Youth rules and guidelines.
As a result, the Victor Girls' Lacrosse Booster Club is sponsoring a "Youth Official's Clinic" for any Varsity player interested in learning to officiate youth games. The two-hour clinic will review youth rules, positioning, and general guidelines for officiating. The clinic will be led by Jason Brightful, national-certified women's lacrosse official. Details are below.
Upon completion of the clinic, participants' contact information will be distributed to area RALL youth girls' lacrosse coaches. The coaches will be encouraged to hire clinic attendees to officiate all spring RALL games.
